Yesterday at bowling .. Joel made two strikes in a row. He said can you believe I did that mom? I said, well yes I believe you could because you can do anything.. He kind of interrupts me in the middle of this to say.. Can you believe I did this, someone my age!'

After Bowling Joel had a ball in his arms.. I said oel why didn't you put that ball up? He said,, I thought you said we could take one home with us? I dn't know like a souvenir?

On a quick trip to pick up Barbara from her job at Huntington Bank, I sent Joel to tell Barbara that we were here. I watched him cross to the bank and he came out several minutes later. He stopped at van for a second and I could see he was talking to someone in the van. He came back to me immediately or I would have gone for him.

I asked him what he talked to the person in the van about and he told me this .' I could tell that lady was worried about me going to the bank by myself so I didn't want her to worry" I asked him what he told her .. "I said, it's okay, I'm SEVEN" I asked Joel what the woman said after that and he said , "she didn't say anything she was just laughing"

last night my kids were eating the last corn dogs that we had and Joel said to me 'mom you can have mine, I insist.. I was like.. no that's ok.. i'm not that into corn dogs like you are.. and he was like but I insist mom.. we repeated this like three more times.

Joel said I'm about to cry mom, but not wah wah cry, but the yay cry , cause I'm reading Lukes' note to me.. and then his little voice tears up. He is so sweet

my most awesomely wonderful young son has lost yet another tooth. Suprising mommy yet again; we were at Josh and Wendy's house for a barbecue when his little tooth was out and he was grining the grin of real superstars. I again broke out in tears (will this ever get easier?) My little boy has two teeth that are gone right there on his bottom jaw; smackdab in the middle! My beautiful son is growing up so quickly.

one tooth gone.. one new tooth coming in.. annd.. another tooth loose! oh wow.. my growing boy!
